We welcome volunteers from all walks of life including students, professionals, retirees, or anyone looking to give back.

What You’ll Gain

  • Content Creator (Social Media)

    What you’ll do:

    • Create content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn

    • Turn advice into simple, engaging posts

    • Share our resources in a clear and creative way

    What you’ll gain:

    • Experience creating content

    • Include your work in a portfolio or applications

    • Confidence using social media for impact

    Requirements:

    • Interest in content creation or design

    • Willingness to learn and be consistent

  • Video Creator

    What you’ll do:

    • Create short-form videos (TikTok, Reels)

    • Edit clips for educational or promotional content

    • Help bring ideas to life visually

    What you’ll gain:

    • Video editing and storytelling experience

    • Portfolio content

    • Understanding of digital media and audience engagement

    Requirements:

    • Interest in video creation or editing

    • Basic editing skills helpful but not required

  • Outreach & Partnerships Assistant

    What you’ll do:

    • Contact schools, organisations, and partners

    • Support webinars and outreach activities

    • Help grow Aspire Steps’ network

    What you’ll gain:

    • Professional communication experience

    • Confidence reaching out to organisations

    • Insight into partnerships and growth

    Requirements:

    • Good communication skills

    • Willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Blog Writer

    What you’ll do:

    • Write blogs on student life, revision, and applications

    • Share advice and personal experiences

    • Help students feel more informed and supported

    What you’ll gain:

    • Published writing for applications

    • Stronger writing and communication skills

    • Experience structuring ideas clearly

    Requirements:

    • Clear writing style

    • Willingness to improve

  • Educational Content Creator

    What you’ll do:

    • Create study guides, worksheets, or learning resources

    • Break down topics into simple explanations

    • Support development of Aspire Steps materials

    What you’ll gain:

    • Experience explaining ideas clearly

    • Work you can reference in personal statements or CVs

    • Deeper understanding of your subject

    Requirements:

    • Good subject knowledge

    • Ability to explain clearly

  • Research & Insights Assistant

    What you’ll do:

    • Research student needs and challenges

    • Help identify topics for new resources

    • Support improvements across Aspire Steps

    What you’ll gain:

    • Research and analytical skills

    • Experience contributing to real decisions

    • Strong examples for academic applications
